1️⃣ WHAT IS MARXISM?
Marxism is a radical political ideology developed by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. It argues that economic structure determines politics, law, ideology, and social relations.
Core claim: “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggle.”
2️⃣ HISTORICAL MATERIALISM
Marx believed material (economic) conditions shape society.
Base (economic structure) → determines → Superstructure (state, law, religion, ideology).
